In the second capital of Uzbekistan - in Samarkand, the VI International Congress "Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan - the Foundation of the New Renaissance" was held. More than 350 people took part in the work of the Congress. These are world-famous oriental scholars, 6 heads of international organizations, 50 directors of famous international museums, 15 academicians, 25 professors, 22 doctors of sciences, museum workers, media representatives working in the coverage of culture and art, media people interested in studying and preserving cultural heritage of Uzbekistan. This large-scale project was organized by the World Society for the Study, Preservation and Promotion of the Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan. One of the authors of the project was the late chairman of the scientific council of the World Society E.V. Rtveladze. Modern Uzbekistan is located in the very heart of the Central Asian region. Therefore, even without going far into the past into the depths of millennia, just looking back at the recent past, one can catch its connection with the previously unified states, which are the Emirate of Bukhara, the Khorezm and Kokand khanates, the total territory of which was commensurate with the Great Turan. Concentrating in itself such cities as Khiva, Bukhara and Kokand, which were not only the capitals of these states, but also the ancient centers of culture, science and education, Uzbekistan is aware of its historical mission to world civilization. Therefore, the leadership of the new Uzbekistan contributes not only to the comprehensive preservation of the cultural heritage of Uzbekistan, but also of the entire Central Asian region. At the same time, Uzbekistan is trying, together with close neighbors, to cooperate in this noble field of studying, preserving and popularizing the cultural heritage. Of course, with the acquisition of independence by the Republic of Uzbekistan, many good things were done in this direction, but it was thanks to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev that issues of careful preservation and enhancement of the historical, artistic and intellectual heritage of the Uzbek people , education of the younger generation on the basis of universal and national values. The multimedia project “Cultural heritage of Uzbekistan in the collections of the world”, the main idea of which was to catalog the masterpieces of the heritage of Uzbekistan, due to various circumstances now stored abroad, is a unique action that has no analogues in the world. The collected materials are published in the form of books-albums. In addition to the publishing program, films and television programs are created, international congresses and media events are held. The project has already been named the international card of the new Uzbekistan, an example of how the consolidation of the forces of public, state and international organizations, socially responsible business, and the media can achieve unprecedented results in the field of education and education. The same original project at the international level without analogue was launched in 2012 in Kyrgyzstan. The World Nomad Games is essentially a unique large-scale project of the Kyrgyz Republic initiated by the Government of Kyrgyzstan to preserve the culture of a nomadic civilization. Just as all ethno-sportsmen of the world as well as participants from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan take part in these games, and scientists from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan take an active part in the project "Cultural heritage of Uzbekistan in the meetings of the world" on a par with world scientists . Therefore, at the VI International Congress “Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan – Foundation of the New Renaissance” held in Samarkand on July 22-24 this year, during round tables, a scientist from Turkmenistan confirmed the readiness of his Turkmen colleagues to work with Uzbek scientists regarding the history of the Khiva Khanate. Kyrgyz scientists promised to provide numismatic materials for study - ancient coins. Tajik experts reported that there are 1,500 manuscripts in the museums of Tajikistan, including 200 books in the Old Uzbek language. Among them there are also old handwritten books of such famous representatives of Uzbek poetry as Alisher Navoi and Boborahim Mashrab. Thanks to the wise policy of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, pursued by him in the spirit of mutual respect, mutual cooperation in all sectors of life with the countries of Central Asia, it became possible to carry out such work to study, preserve and popularize the cultural heritage of Uzbekistan. The efforts of the country's leadership in this direction were crowned with success, Uzbekistan became a member of the UNESCO Committee for the Protection of the Intangible Cultural Heritage, held in Paris at the 8th session of the General Assembly of the Member States of the Convention" On the Protection of the Intangible Cultural Heritage".
