The World Society for the Study, Preservation and Popularization of the Cultural Legacy of Uzbekistan was established in 2018 on the initiative of more than 300 orientalists from around the world.

Article 1. Goals of the World Society:
The World Society for the Preservation, Study, and Popularization of the Cultural Legacy of Uzbekistan (hereinafter referred to as the Society) is an international non-governmental non-profit self-governing organization that brings together individuals and legal entities. The objectives of the Society are to promote international cooperation among state and public organizations, researchers, experts, representatives of the scientific community, media, and other interested parties in the preservation, study, and promotion of the cultural heritage of Uzbekistan in the context of safeguarding the world cultural heritage.
