On the eve of the VI International Congress of the World Society for the Study, Preservation, and Popularization of the Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan, a book of memoirs about academicians, scientists, and outstanding archaeologists Edward Rtveladze entitled "In Memory of Edward Rtveladze" was presented.
The publication was presented by a member of the World Society, a special employee of the Miho Museum from Japan Sergey Laptev, who also participated in the creation of the book.
This is a colorful photo album with many pictures of the scientist, as well as essays about him written by members of his family, friends, archaeologists, doctors, lawyers, and statesmen. In total, more than 40 people wrote about the scientist. The book also includes the memoirs of Edward Rtveladze himself, as well as his scientific articles about one of the main discoveries in the scientific life of the scientist - Alexandria of Oksiana.
Edward Vasilyevich Rtveladze was an outstanding scientist, archaeologist, researcher, and permanent chairman of the scientific council of the World Society for the Study, Preservation, and Popularization of the Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan.
Edward Rtveladze passed away in February 2022.
It should be noted that on July 22-24 Samarkand hosts the VI International Congress "Cultural heritage of Uzbekistan - the basis of a new Renaissance." Its organizers are the World Society for the Study, Preservation, and Popularization of the Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan and the oilfield service company Eriell Group.
