The book-album presents the best art samples from one of the oldest cultural institutions in Uzbekistan.
- Established back in 1922 on the basis of a collection of valuable items that had belonged to the former emirs of Bukhara, now the structure of the museum-reserve includes 16 branches and two permanent exhibitions. The sections of the book-album give an idea of the most interesting expositions, - said Firdavs Abdukhalikov, author and project manager, Board Chairman of the World Society for the Study, Preservation and Promotion of the Cultural Legacy of Uzbekistan.
These are the expositions of the Regional Museum of Local Lore located in the Ark Fortress, the Sitorai Mokhi-Khossa Museum of Applied Arts, the Museum of Fine Arts in the former Azov-Don Bank, the House-Museum of Faizulla Khodjaev, the Museum of the History of Calligraphy Art of Bukhara, the Museum of Carpet Weaving.
It is worth noting that the project is supported by the international oilfield service company Eriell Group. The book-album will be presented at the 6th Congress of the World Society for the Study, Preservation and Promotion of the Cultural Legacy of Uzbekistan in the summer of 2022.
