On June 27, the Day of Press and Mass Media Workers of Uzbekistan, by the Decree of the President of the republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the author and head of the international multimedia project Firdavs Abdukhalikov was awarded the Order of "Mekhnat Shukhrati".
The high award was presented for a significant contribution to the establishment of democratic values, freedom of speech and press in society, ensuring the constitutional rights of citizens in the information sphere, bringing to the population objective and reliable information about reforms carried out in all areas, modernization and renewal processes, educating the younger generation in spirit of love for the motherland, devotion to the ideas of independence and for active participation in public life.
Firdavs Abdukhalikov founded the first non-state television and radio company STV in Uzbekistan. He is also an author-producer of more than 20 documentaries, including joint television projects with Russian TV channels and such documentaries as “Uzbekistan. The Pearl of the Sands”, “Through the Sands of Time”, “Uzbekistan: Revelations Gained”. He was the head of creative groups for more than 30 media projects. Among the national media projects: a unique research work "Architectural Epigraphy of Uzbekistan" (13 volumes), "Masters of Independent Uzbekistan", producing a 3D light and music performance on Registan Square "The cultural heritage of Uzbekistan is the heritage of all mankind."
Firdavs Abdukhalikov is also known as the author and leader of the exclusive international multimedia project "Cultural Legacy of Uzbekistan in the World Collections", which brought together more than 400 scientists around the world. As part of the project, 15 album books have already been published and more than 20 documentaries have been created. During the Second International Congress in St. Petersburg in June 2018, by a general vote of scientists from 30 countries of the world, Firdavs Abdukhalikov was elected Chairman of the Board of the World Cultural Heritage Society of Uzbekistan.
