One of the authors of the ten-volume collection "Masterpieces of written monuments of the East", member of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Edward Rtveladze told about the preparation of the book and the future plans of the team of authors.
"The work was grandiose… In just two years, we have managed not only to collect, not only to analyze, but also to hand over these ten volumes dedicated to the cultural heritage of Uzbekistan."
As the academician emphasized, such a quick result was made possible thanks to the work of a huge team of scientists, designers, publishers.
"I want to emphasize. Our main goal, we can say a strategic goal, is to make the cultural heritage of Uzbekistan the property of the world community."
The authors had to go to some simplification of the material, Rtveladze noted, so that a wide range of readers could easily get acquainted with the cultural heritage of Uzbekistan.
