The capital of Uzbekistan is hosting a grandiose event in the world of culture and art - the International Media Forum of the project "Cultural Legacy of Uzbekistan in the World Collections": "Results of 2018. Roadmap for 2019".
Domestic and foreign scientists, civil society and socially responsible business joined the implementation of the initiatives of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on the preservation and enhancement of the cultural heritage of Uzbekistan.
Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Aziz Abdukhakimov told our correspondent about the importance of preserving and studying cultural heritage:
"Today we reaffirm our commitment to the preservation of cultural heritage. And today's presentation of new volumes of such a solid publication "The Cultural Legacy of Uzbekistan in the World Collections" once again confirms that we have a huge historical cultural heritage, and Uzbekistan is trying to collect and preserve all this bit by bit , and in the future to present to our population, youth and worthy to present to foreign guests. Today, the first responses are already appearing on what painstaking work is being done in this direction. Contacts have been established with the largest museums, collections of the world.
