Emmanuel Brello (France), Leading specialist in Central Asian manuscripts, Researcher at the Central Asian Department of the Berlin State Library, Aysima Mirsultan (Germany), Head of the Istanbul Islamic Civilization Park, the author of unique copies of the Istanbul Quran, Husayn Kutlu (Turkey), Special Researcher at the Miho Museum, Doctor of Sciences Sergey Lapteff (Japan) and other world-famous experts.
A video film will be presented as part of the opening ceremony, which will highlight the state reforms carried out in New Uzbekistan in the fields of science, culture and education. The film will highlight the efforts of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev in studying and preserving the country's cultural heritage. Another documentary film that will be shown to the participants of the Week will tell about the work of the 8th International Congress of the WOSCU and the Center of Islamic Civilization. This is a cultural and humanitarian mega-project initiated by Shavkat Mirziyoyev as part of his idea to use the enormous potential of Islamic teachings in preserving spiritual and moral values, harmonizing social relations, and combating ignorance through education.
The main goals of the Cultural Legacy Week in Tashkent are to popularize the historical and cultural legacy of the country, including among the younger generation of the Uzbeks, present the Center of Islamic Civilization, and find partners for the joint implementation of projects to enhance the expositions of the museum halls and the library of the Center of Islamic Civilization, as well as the museum in the Imam Al-Bukhari complex.
It should be noted that during the week in Tashkent, there will be a simultaneous opening of exhibitions at 8 scientific sites of the capital, including the exhibition "Masterpieces of Archeology and Ethnography" in the State Museum of the History of Uzbekistan, the opening of a special exhibition "The Quran: the Light of Peace, Goodness and Spiritual Awakening" will take place in the WOSCU conference hall, an exclusive exhibition "Treasures of the Ages: Manuscript Heritage of Uzbekistan" will open at the al-Biruni Institute of Oriental Studies, a thematic exhibition is planned at the State Museum of the Timurids, the opening of a special exhibition will also take place at the Museum of the History of Cinematography in the Cinema Palace, in the Center of Islamic Civilization - "Masterpieces of Historical Thought". In addition, there will be excursions along the Alley of Writers and an exhibition of projects at the Center of Islamic Civilization.
