Facsimile copies of priceless manuscripts of antiquity will be transferred to the collections of Uzbekistan within the framework of the international media forum "Crossroads of Times: the great Heritage of the past — the basis of an enlightened future".

According to the chairman of NAEMI Firdavs Abdukhalikov, the media forum is held within the framework of the project "Cultural Legacy of Uzbekistan", recognized to expand the knowledge of Uzbek and foreign scientists about the unique samples of the historical and cultural heritage of the country stored in museum and private collections in many countries of the world.

The main event of the forum will be the presentation and transfer to the museums and libraries of the republic of facsimile copies of the books "The Quran from Katta Langar", "Sultan Hussein Baykara's Sofa", "Rauzat-as-Safa" ("Garden of Purity"), "Mirage", "The Code of Timur", stored at the Institute of Oriental Manuscripts of the Russian Academy of Sciences and The National Library of France. Even a specialist can hardly distinguish copies made using a unique technology using gold from the original.

Earlier, within the framework of this project, five volumes with illustrations from the collections of the State Museum of the East, the Russian Ethnographic Museum, the State Tretyakov Gallery, as well as works by Alisher Navoi from the Russian National Library were transferred to the collections of Uzbekistan.
