Its author and leader is the Chairman of the Board of the National Association of the Electronic Media of the Firdavs Abdukhalikov and the scientific supervisor is Academician of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan Edvard Rveladze.
The event presents the first five volumes of album books from the Cultural Legacy of Uzbekistan series published in Uzbek, English and Russian. They are dedicated to the Uzbek collections at the State Museum of Oriental Art (Moscow), the Russian Museum of Ethnography (St. Petersburg), the State Tretyakov Gallery (Moscow), Carpets and Embroidery of Uzbekistan in the World Collections (Australia, Canada, the USA and others) and the Works by Alisher Navoi in the Collection of the Russian National Library (St. Petersburg).

Edvard Rveladze noted the importance of the Congress not only for Uzbekistan, but also the entire scientific community of the world.
“This Congress has scientific and educational significance. For several years, scholars of Uzbekistan together with scholars, first of all, from Russia worked on the publication of five volumes ... This is an innovative project, it has no analogues around the world. I think that other countries can follow our example,” said the Academician.
According to him, other countries, where part of the material and spiritual culture of Uzbekistan is kept, will gradually be covered. “Our scholars and emissaries found out that the cultural legacy of Uzbekistan, which for various reasons turned out to be outside our homeland, is stored even in the Hawaiian Islands, Australia, Canada, and Argentina. Gradually, we will cover these countries and regions,” Edvard Rtveladze emphasized.
The participants of the event watched trailers of documentaries about the collections of Uzbekistan in the collections of museums, scientific institutes and libraries of the world.
