On June 8, in St. Petersburg, the Second International Congress continued its work "Cultural Legacy of Uzbekistan - the path to dialogue between peoples and countries."
During the plenary meeting, a presentation of the album books was held: “The cultural heritage of Uzbekistan in the collection of the State Hermitage. Part 1”, “The Cultural Heritage of Maverannahr in the collection of the State Hermitage. Part 2. VIII - XV centuries. ”
Mikhail Piotrovsky, General Director of the State Hermitage (St. Petersburg), academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Historical Sciences, and Professor made an opening word.
The Director of the Hermitage was presented as a gift from a collection of 13 volumes "Architectural Epigraphics of Uzbekistan."
