This key event of the Week starts on December 15 in the building of the Youth Palace. Representatives of official circles and international organizations, over 300 prominent foreign scientists from more than 40 countries of the world, as well as about 1000 domestic scientists and national participants will take part in the Congress.

 

Two days of the IV International Congress "Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan as the basis of a new Renaissance" are devoted to the reports of foreign scientists dedicated to revealing the value of the cultural heritage of Uzbekistan.

 

Well-known orientalists will share the sensational results of their many years of research on the contribution of the greatest minds of the Uzbek land to the development of world civilization, powerful bursts of scientific and cultural upsurge - the first and second Renaissance, which became unique periods in the history of all mankind and demonstrated an atmosphere of enlightenment, religious tolerance and humanism. The idea of a new Renaissance, voiced by the President of Uzbekistan, takes on a special meaning at a time when a large-scale renewal of many spheres of life is underway in the republic. In addition to these bright periods, there were other glorious pages in the history of our country, which also attract the attention of researchers with their outstanding achievements.

 

It is planned to approve the "Roadmap" of the work of the World Society for the Study, Preservation and Popularization of the Cultural Legacy of Uzbekistan until 2025. There will also be a ceremony of presenting certificates for album books of the project “Cultural Legacy of Uzbekistan in the World Collections” and facsimiles of unique manuscripts to museums and libraries of our country.

 

In addition to presentations and reports on the topic of the cultural and historical heritage of our country, a presentation of 35 unique books-albums from the series "Cultural Legacy of Uzbekistan in the World Collections" will take place. The books will reflect the rich palette of works of art of Uzbekistan, belonging to different eras and located in museum and private collections of the world - collections of the Czech Republic, India, USA, Canada, Italy, Turkey, Poland, Great Britain, Japan. Several publications are devoted to unique artifacts kept in the museums of our country - the State Museum of History, the Beruni Institute of Oriental Studies of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

 

The third day of the Week is devoted to the theme of cinema and historical photography. On this day, a meeting of the section of film critics of the Central Asian region will take place, as well as the most important ceremony for the history of cinematography in Uzbekistan, the ceremony of returning animated films (more than 100 cartoons) and six films of the golden collection of Uzbek cinema from the Russian Film Fund to Uzbekistan with the sponsorship of the World Society.

 

The fourth day of the week will be held under the auspices of the popularization of culture and science among the younger generation. Special interactive platforms will be prepared where representatives of the younger generation of Uzbeks will be able to get acquainted with the achievements in the field of culture and art of our country in an exciting way. Multimedia "bases" will be created, 3D installations with historical paintings coming to life, historical reconstructions with scenes from historical films and books, thematic zones, master classes of national dances, as well as a game of the team of experts "What? Where? When?" on the topic of the history of our country and even historical theatrical reconstructions.

 

The Cultural Heritage Week in Uzbekistan is preparing many surprises for guests and participants. Among them are a demonstration of domestic film premieres, the Film Lecture Hall with unique newsreel footage, the bright and colorful fashion show National Clothes - the Pearl of the New Renaissance, and much more.
