The project Cultural Legacy of Uzbekistan in the World Collections has the opportunity to gain access to research on a priceless collection of treasures that unites the states located on the territory of the former Kushan kingdom.
As you know, Kushan gold - one of the largest and most expensive treasures in the history of mankind - was found on the territory of Afghanistan. Now it is stored in the collection of the National Museum of Kabul.
The World Society for the Study, Preservation and Promotion of the Cultural Legacy of Uzbekistan, in the course of upcoming negotiations with the director of the museum, Dr. Mohammad Fahim Rahimi, plans to reach an agreement on the publication of a book-album dedicated to such artifacts from Afghanistan, which are our common cultural heritage, like the gold of the Kushan kings.
It should be noted that Dr. Rahimi is expected to attend the upcoming 5th Anniversary Congress of the World Society, which will be held in September 2021.
Research initiatives implemented by the project Cultural Legacy of Uzbekistan in the World Collections aimed at studying, preserving and popularizing the cultural legacy of Uzbekistan are carried out with the support of the international oilfield services company EriellGroup.
