Among them, manuscripts of Navoi's three works are stored in the library of the Topkapi Palace Museum, in the Museum of Turkish and Islamic Art and in the library of Istanbul University.
Most of these manuscripts belong to the Timurid era. Most of those were collected by representatives of the Ottoman Empire who were interested in the Timurid heritage from Herat in the late 15th century.

All the manuscripts are decorated in the royal style with precious materials. Four of the 17 manuscripts have lacquered bindings, and the other eleven have bindings of leather. One is bordered with blue silk with gold thread. The inner part is also treated with leather and varnish.
In some books, margins are decorated with golden sprays. Ornamental decoration also made using gold is no less beautiful.
Presumably, the most exquisitely decorated manuscripts belonged to representatives of the ruling elite.
