Gold embroidery patterns

Patterns of gold-embroidered products are very diverse. These are mainly flowers on thin branches or round rosettes framed by branched stems.

Geometric ornament in the form of circles, rhombuses and broken lines were less commonly used. With great artistic taste, gold-embroidered calligraphic inscriptions of a religious nature are made in the border of individual compositions. Each detail of the ornament is embroidered separately, which gives the pattern a slight relief and emphasizes the play of tones within the same colour. The convex ornament creates a play of light and shadow, thereby causing an additional decorative effect.

The modern art of gold embroidery inherited a huge stock of ornamental motifs that are distinguished by their multivariance and bright decorative qualities. Samples of gold embroidery in the collection is about 100.
