Description
The second part of the two-volume edition dedicated to the State Museum of History of Uzbekistan covers the ethnographic collection of the museum. It includes ceramics, porcelain and earthenware, articles made by embossers and jewelers, as well as embroidery, fabrics, carpets and national costumes. Among other things, the book presents a unique collection of weaponry making art practiced in the past centuries. Most of the weapons presented in the volume are published for the first time. The album also features rarely published materials about the monuments of Dungan culture and everyday life in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, in particular items of clothing, jewelry and footwear.
