After establishment of Tashkent Porcelain Factory in 1953, the Museum’s collection was replenished with traditional in shape and unique models produced by the factory: pialas, kosas, lagans, teapots, vases, and services. The factory paid attention to the production of anniversary products. Basically, these are large-format vases and lagans.

The high level of products was achieved due to high-quality raw materials. The most notable are the patterns of “Cotton”, “Satin”, “Golden Dear” and some others. Many “Cotton” patterns were developed at the factory. The products of Tashkent Porcelain Factory are easily recognizable: the label on the bottom is the fairy-tale bird Anko.

You can learn more about the topic in the book-album "The Collection of the State Museum of the History of Uzbekistan" (Part 2, Volume XXVII) in the series "Сultural legacy of Uzbekistan in the world collections".

The main sponsor of the project is the oilfield services company Eriell-Group.
