Bahrom Abdurakhimov is a Doctor of Historical Sciences, professor, Vice President of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and director of the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Abdulhalimov Bahrom Abdurakhimovich is the Vice President of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Sciences of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, director of the Abu Raihan Beruni Institute of Oriental Studies, Doctor of Historical Sciences (DSc), professor, Arabist historian, specialist in the history of Central Asia, Islam, and Eastern manuscripts.
He is the author of about 90 scientific papers published in international and domestic scientific journals and collections. He has also authored the monograph "Bayt al-Hikma va Orta Osiyo olimlarining Bagdoddagi ilmiy faoliyati (IX - XI asrlarda aniq va tabiiy fanlar)" (Bayt al-Hikma and the Scientific Activities of Central Asian Scholars in Baghdad (Exact and Natural Sciences in the 9th-11th Centuries)) (2004). He serves as the editor-in-chief of the journal "Social Sciences in Uzbekistan" and the scientific collection "Meros," and is a member of the editorial boards of several national and international scientific publications. He is the author of the 38th volume of the Manuscripts of the Works of Abu Ali Ibn Sina in Turkish libraries and a series of books on the cultural heritage of Uzbekistan.
He is the author of the 21st volume of the Collection of the Abu Raihan Beruni Institute of Oriental Studies of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Part One: Historical Works and Documents, a series of books on the cultural legacy of Uzbekistan.
He is the author of the 22nd volume of the Collection of the Abu Raihan Beruni Institute of Oriental Studies of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Part Two: Exact and Natural Sciences, a series of books on the cultural legacy of Uzbekistan.
