Necklaces made of corals and other breast decorations of Samarkand women

Breast decorations included necklaces made of corals, forming several bundles – kamchin, necklaces made of metal beads of various shapes, necklaces, which were interspersed with beads of silver and corals.

 If Bukhara women with all the abundance of ornaments worn all the same time a small amount, but Samarkand women preferred to wear simultaneously several necklaces one below the other, covering the entire breast. Later, instead of corals, they began to use a necklace of silver coins of the Bukhara coinage, fixed to chains with large links.
