The World Society for the Study, Preservation and Popularization of the Cultural Legacy of Uzbekistan (WOSCU) presented various historical items for the exposition of the Museum of the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan.
The "Scottish Collection" and other artifacts being donated were reviewed at a discussion meeting chaired by WOSCU Chairman and Center Director Firdavs Abdukhalikov.
The exhibits were distributed among the CIC sections as follows:
For the section "Pre-Islamic Period" - Sapallitepa artifacts
For the section "First Renaissance" - ceramics with Arabic inscriptions found in Afrasiab
For the section "Timurids - Second Renaissance" - miniatures of that period.
For the "Epoch of Khanates" section - suzani, carpets, and jewelry.
These efforts serve to truthfully and effectively convey the true history to our people and the world community.
