Exhibits related to Uzbekistan in foreign museums will be returned

The Center for Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan plans to bring the originals of exhibits stored in various museums around the world as part of the "Pre-Islamic Civilizations" project. This was reported by the Center's information service.

"Many exhibits, from the museums in Japan to the famous Louvre in Paris, are directly related to the era of civilizations in our region. Therefore, an initiative is being put forward to restore this history and bring them back to Uzbekistan," the statement said.

An important aspect of the project is that the exhibits will be presented not only for the exhibition, but also for a wide audience based on in-depth scientific research, educational, and cultural events.

For information, in order to enrich the exposition of the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, 9 directions are covered, and 5 halls will be enriched with exhibits. Currently, all projects are in the first stage and are planned to replenish the museum's exposition.
