The Director of the Center for Islamic Civilization, Firdavs Abdukholiqov, received facsimile copies of historical manuscripts related to our country’s cultural heritage. Among them are "At-Tafhim" by Abu Rayhan Beruni and "Shahnama" by Abulqasim Ferdowsi, rewritten during the Timurid era. The event, organized by the Institute of Islamic Thought and Civilization, was also attended by Uzbekistan’s ambassador to Malaysia, Karomiddin Gadoev.
The head of the center, Firdavs Abduholiqov, shared his opinion on the process of receiving the copies of ancient manuscripts:
"Currently, Uzbekistan, under the initiative of our President, pays special attention to studying historical heritage and promoting humanistic ideas. Eight years ago, according to the decrees of the head of our state, the Center for Islamic Civilization was established. The goal of our center is to reflect the contribution of great scholars from Uzbekistan to world civilization and to research cultural and educational monuments related to our country that are preserved both in Uzbekistan and abroad. In addition, active work is being carried out to study the contribution of great thinkers to world civilization and to research cultural monuments. The copies of the manuscripts received today will also enrich our center's exhibition."
These manuscripts are expected to be displayed in the historical exhibition of the Center for Islamic Civilization.

In December of last year, it was reported that historical manuscripts related to Uzbekistan’s cultural heritage were discovered in the Library of Islamic Civilization at the International Institute of Islamic Thought and Civilization in Malaysia.
The works and scientific discoveries of Abu Rayhan Beruni (973–1048) made a significant contribution to the development of world science. His work "At-Tafhim", rewritten in 1197, is recognized as an important source in the history of world science. "Shahnama" by Abulqasim Ferdowsi was rewritten in the 15th century based on the traditions of book art from the Timurid era. This work contains elements characteristic of the miniature school of Kamoliddin Behzod.
