I am once again immensely delighted to be in sunny Uzbekistan. Each time I visit your country, I feel the love and warmth radiated by the faces of its people, the unique freshness of your city that fills my heart with light even today. Undoubtedly, this pleasant warmth, the satisfied faces, and the cheerful spirit of the people reflect their contentment with life — the fruits of the positive changes taking place in your country.
The actions of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, as the architect of the New Uzbekistan, aimed at the forward-looking transformation of the country — renewing its external and internal image, creating a new international identity, leading the people towards the fulfillment of their age-old dreams, and implementing democratic reforms grounded in national values — are changing not only the lives of Uzbekistan’s people but also their consciousness and mindset. This is an absolute truth.
The constructive and pragmatic foreign policy pursued by the head of state plays an important role in restoring and strengthening Uzbekistan’s historic position in Central Asia and the Turkic world.
Since Uzbekistan became a full-fledged member of the Organization of Turkic States, cooperation within the activities of TURKSOY, as in other areas, has also risen to a new level.
