Without political will, it is difficult to study and popularize cultural heritage. In this regard, the attention and support for cultural heritage from President Shavkat Mirziyoyev can serve as an example for other countries. I first visited your country in 2008, and compared to that time, Uzbekistan has opened up to the world. Scholars from around the globe are gathering and presenting their proposals to enrich the content of the Center for Islamic Civilization. Based on an agreement signed between our Pamukkale University and the International Research Center of Imam Bukhari, we have established close cooperation. Turkey holds over 1,500 works of Imam Bukhari. We intend to publish a catalog of Imam Bukhari's works, as well as a copy of his work "Sahih al-Bukhari," written in 597 AH (850 AD), in collaboration with the center in Samarkand.
