This was announced at events within the framework of Uzbekistan’s International Cultural Heritage Week, currently taking place in Tashkent. This luxurious album, preserved in the Berlin State Library, contains ghazals on one side and miniatures on the other.
Notably, the ghazals in the album belong to Alisher Navoi and Husayn Bayqara and are written in the Turkic language. According to experts, although the Baburid dynasty ruled for over three hundred years, they never forgot their ancestors, nation, and language. In their court, they may have spoken in Persian, Hindi, or other languages, but the most important, serious matters were addressed in Turkic, and numerous Turkic manuscripts were copied.
