This luxurious album, housed in the State Library of Berlin and linked to the Baburid dynasty, contains ghazals on one side and miniatures on the other. Interestingly, the ghazals in the album are attributed to Alisher Navoi and Husayn Bayqaro and are written in the Turkic language. This was reported by Aysima Mirsultan, a staff member of the library and a member of the World Society for the Study, Preservation, and Popularization of Uzbekistan's Cultural Heritage.
— Although the Baburid dynasty ruled for more than three hundred years, they never forgot their ancestors, nation, or language. In the palace, they might have spoken Persian, Hindi, or other languages, but the most important and serious matters were always discussed in Turkic, and many Turkic manuscripts were copied. It is known that 25 pages of this album are kept in the State Library of Berlin, while about 100 other parts are located in the United Kingdom, the United States, the Czech Republic, and Iran.
Cultural reforms aimed at returning examples of Uzbekistan's cultural heritage scattered across foreign countries are being carried out on the initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Currently, work is underway to collect facsimiles of all the missing parts of the album belonging to the Baburids and return them to Uzbekistan, noted the Director of the Center for Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, Firdaus Abdukhaliqov.
The week, rich in scientific discoveries, will continue until October 26.
