This unique gift was received within the framework of international cooperation from the World Society for the Study, Preservation and Popularization of the Cultural Legacy of Uzbekistan (WOSCU). This series of books is not just a collection of historical artifacts but a valuable document containing a rich collection of photographs, descriptions, and research, providing a glimpse into Uzbekistan's past and allowing one to explore its rich history, art, architecture, and traditions.
As a result of joint efforts of WOSCU and the Turkestan Regional Museum of History and Local Lore, a book-album titled "CULTURAL LEGACY OF UZBEKISTAN IN THE MUSEUMS OF KAZAKHSTAN AND KYRGYZSTAN" was published, dedicated to the finest examples of Uzbek decorative and applied art from the late 19th and 20th centuries, as well as modern fine art.
The Turkestan Regional History and Local Lore Museum and WOSCU will continue their cooperation by implementing new projects in the field of cultural exchange and preservation of historical heritage.
