The forum "The Legacy of Great Ancestors - Foundation of the III Renaissance," organized by the Center for Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, became a bright page in the public, cultural, and educational life of Uzbekistan.
Over 500 prominent scholars, scientists, experts, young researchers, and representatives from the religious sector from all regions of Uzbekistan participated in the forum. Divided into 10 sections, they listened to more than 50 reports focused on developing the scientific and historical concept of the Center for Islamic Civilization and its museum exhibits. Additionally, around 600 suggestions and comments were made.
The forum adopted an address from the participants of the Republican Forum to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
"Your initiative to create the Center for Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, regarded as a unique megaproject implemented for the first time in our country's history, stands as a high practical example of your constant attention and care for promoting the ideas of peace, humanism, and tolerance of our holy religion, studying and popularizing the great history of Uzbekistan and the rich cultural and educational heritage of our people worldwide. All this deserves special recognition," the address states.
Forum participants noted that the Center is being established as a unique symbol of the great history and cultural heritage of the Uzbek people and their religious values.
"In today's turbulent times, especially with the increasing attacks carried out in the name of Islam, this Center will become one of the leading organizations that respond to any foreign ideas through scientific refutations and guide our youth on the right path. We believe that the scientific and research developments reflected in all museum exhibits, as well as the active activities of the Center, will enrich knowledge about the history and culture of Uzbekistan and strengthen the spirituality and love for their Homeland among the younger generation on the path to creating New Uzbekistan. Overall, they will help form a correct understanding of the history of our great ancestors and their invaluable contribution to the development of world civilization," the address states.
"We, the Forum participants, pledge to be your primary assistants and to dedicate all our knowledge, experience, and talent to the noble cause of creating a high-intellectual center of knowledge and enlightenment based on the Center for Islamic Civilization, where new ideas will develop and discoveries will be made," the Address emphasizes.
At the conclusion of the Forum, to further enhance the research and educational activities of the Center for Islamic Civilization, make collective decisions on important issues of its activities, and coordinate work related to the Center's museum exhibition, the participants decided to establish a scientific council. This scientific council of the Center for Islamic Civilization will review over 600 proposals submitted during the Forum and develop a "Roadmap" for implementing these proposals into practice, which will later be presented to the country's government.
