The Forum aimed to implement Presidential Decree No. PP-5186 from July 16, 2021, on the development of the Center for Islamic Civilization. It aimed to support the study of the scientific heritage of ancestors who contributed significantly to global scientific and civilizational progress, as well as promote the achievements of Uzbekistan's new development stage.

Representatives from key institutions, including the Center for Islamic Civilization, the International Islamic Academy, the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan, the Academy of Sciences, higher educational institutions, museums, libraries, partner organizations, and media, participated in the Forum.

Over two days, around 500 participants engaged in more than 10 seminars and presentations showcasing the Center's tasks and plans. Scholars actively discussed each presented project, offering suggestions and recommendations, which were systematically compiled and forwarded to the organizing committee.

The second day of the Forum began with a documentary about the Center for Islamic Civilization, followed by plenary sessions where moderators discussed the results of the seminars held in Tashkent in June.

The Forum concluded with an adoption of a final document prepared by the organizing committee. Participants issued an Address and Declaration, which were sent to the President of Uzbekistan.

Thus, the two-day Forum "The Legacy of Great Ancestors – Foundation of the III Renaissance" became an important event in the scientific life of Uzbekistan.
