The basis of the bosh is a round braid cap kiygich, the front part of which was decorated with an embroidered braid.

The embroidery was made of multicolored silk or cotton threads with an iroki stitch with a tamga pattern, which could be used to determine the tribal affiliation of the mistress of the headdress. The second part of the bosh is a solid base, over which a red cloth 3-5 m long was wound. Then several colored scarves (before their number reached 25-30) were folded in a narrow strip and wound in the form of steps.

A large scarf and a kurta cape were thrown over the bosh. Such a headdress was intended only for married women. Depending on the quality and quantity of bosh shawls, it was called boi bosh or kambagal bosh. Nowadays, only a few older women wear it. A distinctive feature of the widow's boshes was the inclusion of a white shawl in the composition of the attire (it is known that many peoples considered white to be a mourning color).
