What is the sarcophagus in the crypt of Amir Temur made of and what flower is depicted on it?

The architectural complex of Khazrat Imam, the main monument of the architectural complex “Dar us-sadat” is located in the city of Shakhrisabz, Kashkadarya region.

Next to it there is an extraordinary architectural structure - the crypt of Amir Temur, which he prepared for himself. In the center of the crypt there is a sarcophagus.

The sarcophagus is a fine example of highly artistic stone carving. It is in the form of an abridged parallelepiped and is made of high quality marble and decorated with abundant highly artistic carving and inscriptions. The monument's surface is painstakingly finished and evenly polished. The inscriptions are placed across the side and upper edges of the lid.

Part of the text from the upper surface was lost as a result of the high levels of humidity inside the crypt. The majority of the upper surface is occupied by a special geometric decorative form, ending with a carved lotuslike figure, like an arch.
