This new text was inscribed with white letters on the blue and turquoise background. The inscription in the rectangular cartouche above the entrance aperture is written in the uncalligraphic naskh script. The text is a fragment from the Koran.
Blessed and Almighty Allah said: «Enter therein [Paradise], in peace and security»!
Allah, the Powerful, has said the truth.
On the two sides of this inscription, the formulas:
– «Allah is great by His greatness», Muhammad – peace be upon him!» are written in the thuluth script.
Along the side walls of the passage and above the entrance opening, the same master copied another inscription in Kufi handwriting. Here are the “beautiful names” of Allah (al-asma’ al-husna).
He is Allah, there is no God but Him, Graceful, Merciful, Master, Holy, Peaceful, Faithful, Protecting, Mighty, Powerful, Superior, Creator, Demiurge, Giving Image, Dominating, Granting, Giving Blessings, Winner, Knowing, Gripping, Spreading, Humiliating, Elevating, Invigorating, Humbling, Hearing, Seeing, Judge, Just, Kind, All-Aware, Meek, Great, All-Forgiving, Grateful, High, Big, Keeping, Disposing, Considering.
