They were covered with thin, mostly crimson half-cross embroidery. Ak zhegde similar to white capes of cotton, were in contrast to girls’ and women’s completely covered with multi-colored embroidery of silk threads, with predominance of red. The sides, a hem and sleeves ends were fringed by the red silk thread. The sewn collar of red clothing also covered with ornaments.
White was a symbol of purity and dignity, while at the same time it meant a loss of ability to give birth and death (plain white was the color of mourning).
