The script of this inscription is naskh-i thuluth with elements of the divani script. The characters are white. The diacritic is irregular. A fine vegetative ornament covered with the turquoise hue is carved above the inscription background.
... (?) her immaculacy ...! And the building was completed on day 13 of the safar month, in the year of seven hundred and sixty two [December 30, 1360].
Two hadithes are inscribed in the rectangular cartouches in the bottom parts of the portal. The script is thuluth. Both texts were written during the recent renovation (2005).
The Prophet – peace be upon him! – said: «A prayer is the essence of worship».
The Prophet – peace be upon him! – said: «This world is the abode of decay».
