It is thought that the tomb of his son, ‘Umarshaikh (1356–1394), is located in the same territory. A sepulchral stone of ‘Umar-shaikh's son, Sa‘id Ahmad Mirzo (1391–1429), found not far from here, supports this theory. The necropolis was obviously a burial place for the Temurids and the Barlas aristocracy, the family from which Amir Temur originated.
