Formation of the traditional costume of Khorezm

Throughout its history, the clothes of Khorezm retained their originality and by the 19th – early 20th centuries developed in their basic forms. The traditional clothes of the Uzbeks of Khorezm, while maintaining a common basis with the clothes of other regions, at the same time were notable for pronounced local details. These features were formed and developed under the influence of natural geographic conditions, historical, ethnic and cultural processes.
