On November 28-29, 2017, the International Media Forum "Crossroads of Times: Great Heritage of the Past - Foundation of an Enlightened Future" took place in Tashkent.

On November 29, the Russian TV channel "Culture" presented the documentary "Uzbekistan: Rediscovered Revelations," featuring rare audio recordings from the 1920s, preserved at the Institute of Russian Literature (Pushkin House) in Saint Petersburg.

On November 30, the forum showcased the "Masterpieces of Written Monuments of the East" series and presented facsimile copies of valuable medieval manuscripts to Uzbekistan, including "Kattalangar Quran," "Divan of Husain," "Garden of Purity," "Timur's Code," and "Mirajname," held by the Institute of Oriental Manuscripts of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the National Library of France.

The event also featured the release of five new book-albums from the "Cultural Legacy of Uzbekistan in the World Collections" series, documentaries, and a humanitarian action distributing 2500 book-albums to major libraries and museums worldwide. Books were given to representatives of 136 museums and libraries from 49 countries.

Additionally, scholars from museums and libraries in the UK, France, Russia, Turkey, the Czech Republic, and Japan presented reports on new albums to be published in 2018.
