The Cultural Legacy of Uzbekistan project presented to international observers

On October 22, the International Media Hall hosted a presentation of the project Cultural Legacy of Uzbekistan in the World Collections to foreign observers and experts attending the presidential elections in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The honored guests of the event were representatives of the diplomatic corps, international observers, scientists, representatives of metropolitan and regional museums and institutions, journalists and bloggers.

During the event, the guests enjoyed a video about the results of the 5-year work of the project Cultural Legacy of Uzbekistan in the World Collections, as well as the intermediate results of the work of the World Society for the Study, Preservation and Promotion of the Cultural Legacy of Uzbekistan.

The culminating event was the ceremony of rewarding foreign members of the World Society with commemorative signs for the 30th anniversary of the independence of Uzbekistan, as well as certificates for receiving 35 volumes of books-albums from the series Cultural Legacy of Uzbekistan in the World Collections.

Books and badges of honor will be delivered through the Embassies of foreign countries accredited in Uzbekistan to leading museums, libraries and scientific institutions, as well as personally to members of the World Society abroad.
