The research is being conducted by Sanjar Abdurakhimov, an employee of the Samarkand Institute of Archaeology. During the research, depictions of tulips and white flowers on clay plaster were found on the western wall of one of the rooms. The flowers are combined with thin wavy lines of red, and the mural is covered with a layer of white lime plaster.

The imposing and thick walls of the building, as well as the wall decorations, indicate that this structure may have functioned as a temple in the 4th–5th centuries AD. Future excavations will serve to further clarify the purpose and architectural features of the structure.
