A unique find related to Uzbek history and Baburid heritage was discovered on the walls of the famous Schönbrunn Palace in Austria, UzA reported.
Images of the Baburid Empire were discovered in the Vienna Palace. It turned out that in the room of the palace, known as the "Millions' Roost," there are dozens of paintings depicting the great Mughal Empire of the 16th–17th centuries.
"These details, identified by the Director of the Institute of History, Academician Azamat Ziyo, embody scenes of palace life, queens, and great battles. Seeing the image of our ancestors on the walls of the summer residence of the Habsburgs, one of the most powerful dynasties in Europe, is not only an unexpected news, but also a historical fact that once again confirms the place of the history of Uzbek statehood in world culture," the report says.
