In Karakalpakstan, Andijan, and Samarkand, customs officers prevented the illegal export of valuable historical artifacts.
According to the Customs Committee, a passenger flying to Moscow was detained at Nukus International Airport while attempting to smuggle out two historical coins minted between 1924 and 1970 and banknotes issued in 1961. During the inspection of the luggage belonging to another passenger of this flight, it was revealed that 4 coins dating from 1932-1974 and numismatic items minted in China and Thailand in ancient times were not submitted to customs control.

At the "Dustlik" border customs post of the Andijan Regional Customs Department, a citizen traveling to a neighboring country was detained while carrying an ancient metal samovar, a teapot, two jugs, two platters, and three bowls. Examination processes regarding the historical and cultural significance of these artifacts are ongoing.

At the Samarkand International Airport, during the inspection of a foreign passenger's handbag before their flight to Saint Petersburg, it was revealed that this person tried to secretly take out 2 ancient coins of historical value and one lamp dating back to the beginning of the 20th century.

Currently, these items have been placed in temporary storage, and a preliminary investigation is underway.
