The keys are placed in the exposition of the "First Renaissance" section of the Center of Islamic Civilization. This was reported by the Center's press service.

Since the time of our Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the privilege of keeping the key to the Kaaba door and guarding the Kaaba has been entrusted to the Bani Shayba tribe. This responsible task has been passed down from generation to generation for several centuries and continues uninterrupted to this day.

"These exhibits date back to the 13th century AD, were made of copper and brass during the Mamluk period, and were decorated with silver in the method of plating. On one, verse 27 of Surah Al-Hajj is engraved, and on the other, verse 14 of Surah Taha. "The length of these keys is 17 and 17.5 centimeters," says Abdurasul Yakhshiboev, a researcher at the Center.

The keys to the doors of the Kaaba are distinguished by their artistic design, gilded decorations, and Quranic verses. They were often used in the opening ceremonies of the Kaaba and are an integral part of religious rituals. Each key reflects the environment of its time.

Currently, the key to the Kaaba door is held by the descendants of Bani Shayba. The key is made of pure gold, approximately 40 centimeters long, and is stored in a special silk box. This box is updated annually at a special factory that produces Kaaba kissas.

Earlier, the Kaaba covering - Kisva - was brought from Saudi Arabia. This invaluable and historical exhibit is also located in the CIC. Museum. Here, a copy of the Kaaba door was made and placed as a complete composition with a cover.
