For reference: the Astrolabe was valued not just as an astronomical instrument, but as a symbol of scientific progress and practical experience. He was a reliable guide not only for astronomers but also for travelers, sailors, and merchants.
The detailed description of the structure and use of the astrolabe in the works of such great scholars as Al-Khwarizmi, Al-Farghani, and Beruni further demonstrates the role of this instrument in Islamic civilization.
According to Shavkat Sultanov, director of the "Art Vernissage" auction house, the astrolabe was recognized as the most advanced device in the world, especially in the 15th-18th centuries. This 21 cm long "science tool" was equipped with interchangeable plates, which made it possible to use it at different geographical latitudes.
