Participants of the Cultural Heritage Week in Uzbekistan, organized by the Center for Islamic Civilization and WOSCU, share their views on the results of the event.
BAKHITA AHMED AL-RUMEISI, Executive Director of the Manara Center (UAE):
"I am very pleased to have been invited to the Cultural Heritage Week in Uzbekistan and to have attended this event. It was a wonderful conference that not only showcased the care for Uzbek heritage, culture, and history, but also demonstrated the success of the Center for Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan in hosting such dialogues. The Uzbek model of modernization and competitiveness on the international stage has been highly successful, while preserving the nation's identity, culture, and the cultural heritage of Islamic civilization. We share close core values and national identity, and at the same time, we are facing globalization, becoming part of the modern nations that can compete on international platforms and meet global standards."
