WOSCU's 8th Congress: Focus on the Museum Exhibits of the Center for Islamic Civilization and Imam al-Bukhari

The main theme of the 8th International Congress "The Legacy of Great Ancestors - the Foundation of the Third Renaissance," organized by the World Society for the Study, Preservation, and Popularization of Cultural Legacy of Uzbekistan (WOSCU), will be the museum exhibits of the Center for Islamic Civilization and the Imam al-Bukhari Memorial Complex.

Ahead of the forum, on August 23rd, participants will be taken on a tour of the under-construction Center for Islamic Civilization in Tashkent, where they will also be shown a documentary film about the progress of construction. In Samarkand, guests will visit the under-construction Imam al-Bukhari Memorial Complex.

On August 24th, during the plenary session, Uzbek specialists will present joint projects, including video clips showcasing the exhibitions of the Center for Islamic Civilization and the innovative Imam al-Bukhari Museum. After the plenary session, experts will be divided into seven thematic sections for discussions and reviews of the presented projects. Over 100 scholars will present papers.

The 8th WOSCU International Congress will be held in Tashkent and Samarkand from August 23rd to 26th. The forum is being supported organizationally and financially by the government of Uzbekistan, the oil service company ERIELL GROUP, the Center for Islamic Civilization, as well as TURKSOY, IRCICA, and the "Al-Furqan" foundation. About 300 world-renowned scholars from 35 countries will participate in the congress.
