Texts glorifying Allah in the inscriptions of the Gumbazi Sayyidan in Shakhrisabz

According to the information contained in the album-book "Architectural Epigraphy of Uzbekistan," dedicated to the Kashkadarya region, published as part of the project "Cultural Legacy of Uzbekistan in the World Collections," the dome and epigraphy of the Gumbazi Sayyidan mausoleum in Shakhrisabz, reminiscent of the Shahi Zinda in Samarkand, made of tiles, were restored in 1975.

In 1996, along with the vault, the southern part of the portal's pylon was restored. At the same time, texts containing formulas glorifying Allah were left on the high cylindrical drum in Kufic script: «The Law belongs to Allah», «Gratefulness to Allah», «Greatness belongs to Allah», «Glory to Allah», «Allah», «Muhammad.»
